Bold structural lines, expressive whip shading and intricate stippling define Matteo Nangeroni's approach to abstract blackwork and surrealism. His compositions follow the contours of the body, with minimal circular forms and carefully placed black dots creating rhythm, movement and unexpected depth. What sets the work apart is restraint, with generous areas of untouched skin made an essential part of the design. That balance of bold structure and negative space gives the tattoos an extraordinary sense of flow and freedom.
