Oscar Åkermo works fine-line black and grey with exceptional precision, joining intricate realism to a firm grasp of symmetry, anatomy and composition. Small needle configurations give him extraordinary detail, and measured negative space and transitions between light and shadow give it depth. The compositions work on 2 levels. At a distance they read as elegant ornament. Up close the technical complexity becomes apparent.

Every effort is made to keep each artist's studio, city, styles and links current. Details change, and no guarantee of accuracy at any given moment is given. Corrections from artists and studios are welcomed through the Request an update link on each profile. Every correction is verified by a reply to a direct message from SKINGRAPHICA® to the artist's verified Instagram account before it is published.
