He refuses to specialise. Range at scale is the hardest brief in the category.

Horror and blasphemous black and grey, saturated colour realism, Giger-derived biomechanics and illustrative fantasy, all at back-piece and bodysuit size, where sleeves and front and back pieces make up 90% of his output. More than 100 back pieces now carry his name.

The method is as distinctive as the imagery. Each project normally begins with a drawing appointment where the design is sketched directly onto the skin, and he draws freehand with both hands at once. He works from Corpsepainter Tattoo, his own studio in Munich.

Inspector's note

Body flow, saturation and healed longevity were the 3 measures, and he scored at the top of the field on all of them.
