With some of my newer tattoos my wife and I were looking for products specifically made for Tattoo aftercare and surprisingly didn't find much on the market. I'm really appreciating shield since it has SPF, protects our newer ink and makes the tattoos feel and look really good. I'm about a month into using it and really like the product so far I also appreciate the backstory of the company and the care they put into their product and packaging. I’ve been using shield every morning and throughout the day for the last couple months, especially considering i’m often running and working outside. It’s been great having a go to cream that doubles as a tattoo upkeep cream and sunscreen. My tattoos are looking as vibrant as ever, and can definitely feel a layer of protection against the elements. Especially since I have predominantly blackout tattoos which absorb a lot more heat, it’s actually helped decrease how hot i feel out in the sun.
Shield has definitely been a great addition to my morning skincare routine and will certainly be keeping it in the daily ritual to come.
