    STATUS is open only to verified purchasers. When you apply, you will be asked to share images of your tattoos along with the details of your artist or studio (if known). A powerful concept behind the work, or a personal narrative that gives the piece deeper meaning, can also influence your application.

    Your STATUS tier is awarded based on the artistry and significance of your collection. Work completed by artists featured in our rankings lists carries significant weight in STATUS assessments. Decisions are further informed by our Global Top 10 Artists, whose expertise ensures recognition is aligned with the highest standards of tattoo artistry.

    As your tattoo journey evolves, you can upload new works to reflect your growth and advance your STATUS over time.

It is recognition of a collector with command over their body of work.

  • Every year, we select one STATUS member to receive a new tattoo work, with all expenses including flights and accomodation covered from their home country.

    The recipient will be supported in securing access to the artist of their choice, with SKINGRAPHICA facilitating the process.

    This commission stands as the highest honour within STATUS, recognising a collector whose tattoos embody artistry, meaning, and cultural significance.

  • STATUS certification rules

    We rely on an honour-based system. All images you upload must be your own tattoos, not digitally altered or manipulated by AI.

  • To protect the integrity of STATUS:

    • We use AI detection on all submitted images.
    • Validation may include direct confirmation by the artist or studio involved.
    • We reserve the right to reject STATUS applications that we determine to be misleading or fraudulent.
    • Inappropriate or non-tattoo images will result in immediate refusal of STATUS certification.
    • By submitting images, you confirm that you hold the rights to them. SKINGRAPHICA is granted the right to use submitted images in our communications, marketing, and materials.
    • Where artists or studios are credited, SKINGRAPHICA will clearly acknowledge them whenever submitted images are used.
    • All submitted images are automatically considered for induction into the SKINGRAPHICA Hall of Fame. Those successfully inducted will be notified directly by SKINGRAPHICA.
    • We will never publicly disclose the personal details or names of wearers of the artwork submitted to STATUS without the express written consent of the wearer.
